We need to work on building our future so we have organized the best we can and set goals for ourselves which are hard to achieve now with everything going on.  Issue with me that some know has been very taxing lately.  Keep on plugging away at this shit the weather is finally warming up and boy that is a damn good thing.  I LOVE the sun!

Walk walk walk

Here is some media from today's walk around the lake or as we like to think of it as our central park :)

Another weekend bites the dust

We have a few more to go until they are 18 and moved out hehe.  Here is a set I played around a bit this is there whiny time of the day and they both want Amy to hold them at the same time.  I decided to just grab some footage and kind of laugh hehe.

Wife craziness

Twins are officially driving the wife nuts.  They both like to crawl up on her at the same time because they both want to stand all day long.  She can only hold one so the other ones climbs up her screaming while she is trying to play with the other one then they start kicking each other and both whining.

With the faces getting full of fresh teach they are very irritable.  We still both officially hate babies however enjoying the moments here and there where they are cuter then hell.  I think once teething is over and we get to enjoy them running around and a whole lot less whining things are gonna be great.  Promising future we just need to get through the now without aging 300 years and/or jumping off the balcony.

Keep it up hun :)

Baby craziness

Due to having twins I have purchased these "baby helmets" :) I know what most of you will think but believe me with two babies learning to walk and a house full of ceramic tile, you all would do the same :) Plus this cute video sold me:P

Thudguard child proofing products in action! A must see.... from Kelly Forsyth-Gibson on Vimeo.

Chillaxin wit my girl

Second night in a row I play on my android while amy looks up baby crap on desktop. She doesn't get much relaxing time these days. Its been great though damn kids getting too cute.

Teething twins

Not winning duh! Today was one of the most challenging days of being a mother since the girls were newborns! Both Chloe and Claire are teething and both of them want to have my attention fully devoted to them. Normally I am pretty lucky as they are independent babies and don't require constant coddling for their security, they are generally secure happy children. However today was a different story and it was heart breaking for me to watch them both trying to climb up me and wanting to be held, hurting and crying and I cannot be there for both of them at the same time! Basically when this happens I feel horrible, like a bad mom but I know that I do everything I can each day and that through this experience we are learning to be more patient and self secure, all of us, and as a family. HOWEVER, I cannot wait until this teething thing is done, but I do thank my lucky stars they are sleeping through the night.

Some pics of happy moments today and yesterday (which were far and few)

Bouncy Bouncy little Claire (video)

Claire sure knows how to be cute and take pictures!  Babies are growing incredibly fast which is a damn good thing as I hate newborns.  They are really turning into cute little people!  Amazing they are climbing crawling giggling playing games and being all around cute.  Most importantly molding themselves into my heart really a true bond that comes out during the parent initiation process that is 18+ years.

Here is a cuteass video of Claire bouncing in her bouncy seat.

Extinction pondering

One day most likely we will face extinction.  Dinosaurs ran around for millions of years and  poof one day gone.  I have convinced myself the way top live on is through digitizing my life keeping photos and blog posts documenting each step of daughters life....

Sounds good until tsunami or whatever hits us and takes out computers.  In 20000 years some other form of life may dig up a computer  however since they use a different energy source they will not  understand plug in concept so will not grasp that its a computer and will just hang it in museum calling it a wall mantle piece from 200000 years ago.

Our lives can be extinct just like the dinosaurs do don't forget to live your life ooooo oooo oooohh ahhj (rihanna)

Long but skimming made my brain think

Eric (@esoukenka) has shared a Tweet with you: "esoukenka: U save more water by not eating 1lb of meat than u do by not showering for 6 months! http://ht.ly/4jDjb #meatsnotgreen #worldwaterday" --http://twitter.com/esoukenka/status/50368202055745536

3 day weekend extravaganza

Little Chloe and Claire sure are growing quickly!  I see it a lot as I only really interact with them on the weekends but each weekend they are doing something else amazing.  They really do have a way of getting under your skin and giving you a warm fuzzy feeling inside.   They are with assistance standing up now able to grab a cheerio and put it in there mouth... Eating like little people.  Coco even grabs her sippy cut and puts it in her mouth!  She chokes on the water as it is too fast but strangely thinks its a whole lot of fun to choke haha.

They both can climb up you now and crawl over your feet.  Of course smashing on there face when they land but they can do it.

We are working hard this month to save money and Amy is going to setup a really cool baby room concept.  No cribs just mattresses on the floor and a simpleten type of environment.  She has studied brain activity and development and I really agree with her new idea.

As you can see from the chaos that is this post too much to really say and keep it structured.

I took off Monday (yesterday) this week to assist Amy in bringing Coco in for a doctor appointment and she managed to get her Permanent residence which is really cool!  Welcome Amy to the EU :)

The wiggles

It's official I completely hate the Wiggles and think they should all be torched with gasoline and sing down to there demise into the firey pits of hell where they spend an eternity unable to escape the screams of 1000 babies.

Watch this

Amy's Lunch

Yep we have really been second thinking food lately and trying healthy alternatives for some time now.  Amy has now decided she wants to master Tofu.  She is all over web and getting her Tofu virgin groove on.

Today she made me this for lunch some sort of sauce very light with tomatoes, mushrooms, tofu and other mix of veggies.

Then the pita bread was toasted.  Was pretty good bit sloppy but soon Amy will perfect this I rather enjoy her cooking lately.

Ok I had to play with this software made it look cool:

And the real thing :)

Baby ring fighters who gets the Apple DUNG DUNG DOOONG

Seems these two brats are already fighting over things.  Amy has been talking about how they always want to play with the toy the other one is playing with!  Chloe gets crawled on and stolen from all the time which is funny as about 2 weeks ago it was Chloe stealing all of Claire's stuff because Claire couldn't crawl to catch her.

Now that they are both able to crawl they can chase each other.  Here I give Chloe an apple unfortuntly a lot of the magic was gone by the time I got the camera but them eating this apple core was funny stuff.  For all you freaked out mothers reading this I watched them good I think the sweetness and the feel of it on there sore teething gums they really loved it was hard to even take away!

Birthdays for all

March is a busy month around the Soukenka household. There are 3 birthdays here Hana, Ivan and Eric,(Also my sister and father back in the USA as well) and Grandmas birthday is in the beginning of April. Since there are so many birthdays so close together we get together all at once and celebrate them together. It was a really nice day with good food and family. We ate lunch, watched the babies show of their new tricks and just hung out. Eric got some much needed nice socks both for work and for home :) The simple pleasures of life ! The girls were so excited to have such a big and new place to explore and they kept themselves really busy all day. Once they got home they went to sleep within 5 minutes. It was a long day for us as it is an hour travel each way to Ivan and Hana's. We left at 10 am and got home at 10 pm :)
Here are some pics of the truly awesome day!
