Thee Zoo

We went to the Zoo this weekend for the kids first official family outting.  It is a massive job getting them ready for a day out you are trying not to mess up schedules with sleep and food while preparing for what feels like a week long camping trip.

We met with a collegue of mine Petr and his wife Eva which was great to have the company and some help pushing the stroller.  The Prague zoo is both huge and beautiful.  It maintains a very natury feel to it with plenty of benches and restaurants along the way where you could just sit and read a book with the animals.  The size is so massive a day is hardly enough to get to see all of the animals.

This trip will be very fun when the girls get older however bring them now is only a pain in the ass.   Fortunetly the size is great and even while crowded our bigass stroller can get around comfortably.

These little guys are both mysterious and pretty.  Fun to watch but the crowd  here was a bit big and of course we need to keep moving with the babies.

Half way through the walk Chloe and Claire wanted to walk walk walk so we ripped em out of the stroller and walked em down the sidewalk.  They were very cute and pretty well behaved seeing as how they hate the stroller now.  Those little girls want to run.

Especially since I am a boy the lions and monkeys were my favorite park.   Getting close enough to a monkey to see there thoughts and expressions is rather amazing.  My childhood dream of owning a monkey still remains.

Such a beast to be considered in the same breed as a cat.  This lion pastes crazily back and forth with such ease and badassness.  At one point we saw on of these things playing with a ball like it was a little kitten with a ball of yarn.

This is where I am glad there is a giant piece of glass between us.  As far as being an animal trainer for one of these things I pass!

  Here kitty kitty kitty.

Jesus shut up Eric enough rambling you fool show me the full photo set!
